I had to file a complaint with the CA Attorney General for fraud before Crunch would cancel my membership and wipe out the money I owed them. I refused to pay, stating that they violated the contract but they refused to respond to my emails and calls and continued to try and charge me. They would not cancel my membership unless I paid for the one month membership at the gym I never agreed to be moved to. (However, my credit card had since expired so they weren’t able to actually charge me). When the gyms reopened at 10% capacity, Crunch immediately billed me and I tried to cancel my membership since I wasn’t comfortable going to the gym and the new location was far away for me. During that time, my gym location closed permanently and they moved me to another location without my consent, even though the contract specifically stated that my consent was needed in order to move my location. The gyms suddenly closed and my membership was suspended.
